The estate, where exclusively organic farming methods are used, is situated to the south of Modena near the hillsides, in the “cradle” of production of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. Here the soil is excellent, and over 37 acres are dedicated to cultivating 45,000 espalier vines of Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes. Optimum quality organic produce is obtained thanks to experience, passion and care for our vineyard.
Organic must from our grapes is sold wholesale to producers of grape juice, as a sweetener for organic foodstuffs, yoghurt, biscuits,....and also as must and vinegars for the production of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
Our recently built production facility is equipped with the best technologies. Vineyard management, the production of raw materials and ageing of our Balsamic Vinegar of Modena in our wonderful vinegar cellar are performed in full respect for the environment. The highest quality and economic efficiency are our goals throughout the entire production process.
"15 primavere di Lusetti Florindo 1875 in Casa Balsarena" intends to express the set of values handed down from one generation of our family to the next: from great-grandfather Florindo, a straightforward person with strong ideals, to the three great-granddaughters Beatrice, Francesca and Chiara, young women desirous of developing positive images of the Casa Balsarena logo.
We decided to create two versions of our brand for all our customers, even the most discerning ones: two lines with an important, high quality product in common.
